Genie's Dream Meringue Cookies
These Genie's Dream Meringue Cookies are sweet, crispy, and as light as air! They are perfect for any occasion and can be dressed up with different colors and/or flavors.
These cookies are super simple, to make (with only 4 ingredients + water), fat free and will and will melt in your mouth! In fact, they even taste a little bit like a crunchy marshmallow!
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Genies Dream Meringue Powder
- 1 white from a large egg
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4-1/2 tsp of your desired flavoring
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 225°F. Line a cookie sheet with a silicone baking mat.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, add the egg white, meringue powder, sugar, flavoring & water. Mix with a hand whisk to get it all incorporated then use the whisk attachment on your mixer and mix on high until you get stiff peaks.
- Scoop into a piping bag fitted with a large piping tip. Pipe desired shapes onto the cookie sheets.
- Bake for one hour at 225 F. Turn the oven off, but don’t open the door and leave them in for an additional 2 hours until they’re completely dry and crispy. Peel off and enjoy!
- Store in an airtight container
